Otto, Politiker, * Groß Schilleningken (Ostpreußen) 18. 7. 1874, ✝ Berlin 25. 8. 1937; Metallarbeiter, bis 1932 Mitglied der SPD. 1918-19 war er Vorsitzender der Arbeiter-und-Soldaten-Räte für Oberschlesien, 1919-20 Mitglied der Weimarer Nationalversammlung sowie Reichs- und Staatskommissar für Schlesien und Posen, 1920-27 Oberpräsident der preußischen Provinz Sachsen; gründete (1924 mit K. Höltermann) und leitete (1924-32) das Reichsbanner Schwarz-Rot-Gold.
